Hi, let me introduce myself:
My name is Kescha Platonow,
I was born in Moscow, Russia in 1972 and got the art bug from my father,
who is a professional painter/sculptor and also taught at the Surikov Institute of arts in Moscow.
I started drawing at the ripe age of 2 (as seen in the photo above) and got introduced to the American car culture when my family immigrated to Austria in the early 1980s.
Drawing cars in the style of Ed Roth and other artists I saw in the car magazines finally turned me onto trying pinstriping and lettering, starting with my own car and then becoming a full-time job.
Based in Bregenz, Austria, I mostly cater to clients from Switzerland and Southern Germany, but am willing to travel and sometimes do car shows and events, when time allows.
